I'm giving this 4.5 stars because that remix at the end is FUCKING AMAZING.

i would probably buy this if there was a video somewhere showing me gameplay so i'd at least know what this is.

i dont know if you realize but yes, highly pixelated graphics were used back in the day because of the restrictions of technology. the difference now is that pixelated imagery is not so much a format as it is a style. now if your argument was that you dislike the style, then so be it. but if you think people are making games look pixelated because of a technical issue, then youre obviously missing the point.

as for the game itself, it's quite fun. the slight sense of exploration is definitely a plus. upgradable loot and such are nice too. rpg elements are always a plus to me. didnt play it all the way through, but just because it's cartoony doesnt mean the story and atmosphere needs to take a back seat. i think the other newgrounds game, get in the box or something, is a great example of that. then again, i didnt finish this game so maybe it changes later on. anyway, nice work.

the game was quite fun. a bit too short, and a little too easy. i was playing pretty crappily and still managed to beat it first try. maybe a bit more challenge or a little longer would have been better.

although, even after saying that, there are a few things that were a bit annoying. first of all, killing someone with fists takes too long. it slows down the fast paced killing i would expect from madness. maybe if the enemies didnt fall back after every punch. also, it would be nice to have a bit of invincibility after being knocked down. i often found myself being pushed around without the chance to recollect. i realize doing changing these two things would make the game even easier, but it would help the flow of the game better imo.

but anyway, MADNESS DAY!! WOO!!
